this little lighthearted putto carrying a cardinalshat is carved in relief, and inspired by one of ignaz guenther which was carved in the round. here i tried first time to bring in some color (the original by guenther is painted), but kept the colors subdued.

linden, about 30cm high, 3cm deep. finish is a thin coat of clear matte varnish, followed from a different light colored beewax glazes
